In the end, she was the first American in the Olympics with the highest number of medals. In 2016, the Olympics brought her gold in the team competition, which earned both she and Gabby the honor of being the first Americans ever to have consecutive gold medals for a team. Also, silver medals were awarded at the all-around event as well as floor workouts. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Additionally she was a part of two gold-winning American gymnastics squads. She began her gymnastics training at the age of 2 and enjoys exercises on the floor. Aly is a part of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in honor and memory of her grandmother. In the future, she hopes to build a career from fashion. Aly would like to extend her leotards line as well as her socks. Fierce is due to be released later this summer.
